Adult Sunday School Class

Sunday mornings 10 a.m.

The Adult Bible Study is led by John Leichtweis and is the place where you can get your questions answered, and find out how God is dealing in the lives of other adults and families.

 

You can bring your "tough questions" to this class - but be prepared for straightforward answers from several people in the group! This is a lively "high discussion" class where everyone is welcome to participate. So, come on out, we'd love to meet you! Saturday Morning Bible Study

Every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Mark McCoy leads an adult Bible study at The Worship Center. Rev. McCoy has been an incredible force at  The Worship Center for the last seven years now! Appropriately nick-named "Law-Man", Rev. Mark McCoy offers a great understanding of the scriptures and encourages everybody to dig deeper into the Word of God for themselves. Open discussion and participation is encouraged, everyone has something that they can contribute and something they can learn.

 

Men's Fellowship  

Our Men's Breakfast Fellowship, " Men on a Mission", is lead by Rev. Andrew Hooker. We meet the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. for food, fellowship, projects and Bible Study. This is a group that we invite our friends from work to come to, as well as other men who may not be comfortable coming to a church service. We eat like men (bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, creamed chipped beef, plate sized pancakes, and buttered biscuits) And, we believe that life's too short not to eat well! We eat, study the Word and talk about things that concern us as men who love Jesus.

We open up with each other about the things that are on our hearts and the things we're glad God is doing in our lives. We're a casual fellowship of the kind of guys you grew up with and work with. If you're over 20 yr old and like to eat, grow as a disciple and do a little male bonding, bring your Bible and be prepared to enjoy a terrific time of growth and fellowship!

Ladies Fellowship

The Ladies Fellowship, "Women with a Mission", is led by Jessie Morris. We worship together, pray for each other, and discuss the Word of God together. Also, we share the situations we're in, get advice and counsel from each other, and share our victories. Throughout the year, we do projects and activities, too. We enjoy our "girl talk," and usually enjoy light refreshments as well . The Ladies Fellowship is a great time that keeps our batteries charged, keeps us uplifted and refreshed.

Coffee Break Bible Study

Every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes, varieties and flavors are invited to join the "Women on a Mission" Coffee Break Bible Study.  The "Coffee" in the Coffee Break Bible Study gives us what we need to take on the day, and we're not talking just caffeine.

The "Coffee" stands for Come Out For Fellowship, Encouragement & Empowerment and it is what we've all been needing.  Here's what you can expect and experience when you attend Coffee Break Bible Study:

• A better understanding of Life from a Biblical perspective.

• How to attain the desires of your heart as they apply to God's Word.

• Fellowship with others.

• Building of relationships & friendships.

• Understanding, encouragement, and compassion from others.

• Greater understanding of the Word of God as it applies to you.

• Study topics that relate to you and every day prayer life.

• How to better your prayer life.

• Giving others the chance to pray with and for you.

• Discovering & developing your personal ministry.

COUNSELING

Marriage & Family Counseling

Marriage and Family Counseling is available to consistently attending and tithing members of The Worship Center. Counseling appointments are held at the Bryans Road offices in 60-minute sessions. Appointments can be made with Dr. Davis, who holds a Ph.D. in Psychology or Linda Davis, depending on the nature of the need. Call (301) 375-8655 for counseling requests.
