 Community Outreach & Evangelism 

Get involved in one of our weekly outreaches - Harvest Food Outreach, English as a Second Language classes, community outreaches, media outreaches and more! 

Reach out to people who need it! You'll discover that as you help people, it helps you in your faith too! This is one of the most encouraging ministries you can get involved with!

 

 

Kids' Ministries

The kids ministry here at the Worship Center will literally blow your mind! You've never seen anything like this before. Your kids will get to learn all about Jesus through exciting puppet shows, interactive games, informative and hilarious short videos, insightful Bible skits and  through fun Bible lessons by Rover Comer the Faith Dog! Kids Ministry has weekly meetings as well as numerous special events for kids and families throughout the year!

 

 

Middle School "In-Betweens"

There's a special place for Middle School students here at The Worship Center! They meet every Sunday in The Fisherman's Wharf at 10 a.m. The "In-Betweens" learn about Jesus Christ, what it means to be a Christian and talk about real life issues.

 

 

Teens

The Teens Ministry has a Sunday school class that meets every week at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings (during the 9:15 a.m. service) in the Beach room. Teens also have special events!

For Adults

There are lots of special ministries just for adults here at the Worship Center. There's an adult Sunday School Class that meets every Sunday at 10 am, Saturday Morning Bible Study that meets every Saturday at 10 am, Ministry Training Class every 3rd Thursday at 7 pm and opportunity for a counseling appointment with Pastor  by scheduled appointment. 

Ladies Fellowship

We worship together, pray for each other, and discuss the Word of God together. Also, we share the situations we're in, get advice and counsel from each other, and share our victories. The Ladies Fellowship is a great time that keeps our batteries charged, keeps us uplifted and refreshed.

We have a Bible Study EVERY Tuesday Morning and regular women's events! Be sure, ladies, to join us and discover what the Lord can do for YOU in your situation and circumstance!

Men's Fellowship  

Our  Men on a Mission meets for a breakfast fellowship on the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. for food, fellowship, projects and Bible Study. This is a group that we invite our friends from work to come to, as well as other men who may not be comfortable coming to a church service. We eat like men (bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, creamed chipped beef, plate sized pancakes, and buttered biscuits) And, we believe that life's too short not to eat well! We eat, study the Word and talk about things that concern us as men who love Jesus.

We open up with each other about the things that are on our hearts and the things we're glad God is doing in our lives. We're a casual fellowship of the kind of guys you grew up with and work with. If you're over 20 yr old and like to eat, grow as a disciple and do a little male bonding, bring your Bible and be prepared to enjoy a terrific time of growth and fellowship!

 

Drama Team

Have you been searching for an outlet to use your God-given gifts?

 Whether it's acting, putting together sets & costumes, writing, or you have good ideas for skits about Jesus Christ - there is a place for YOU here! All ages can get involved! Prior experience is not a must!

 

 

 

Overseas Missions

Jesus commanded us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel". Feel called overseas? This may be the ministry for you! Find out how you can begin to fulfill the call God has on your lives to help others and be a light in this world!

 

 

 Areas to serve

There are lots of ways that you can use your specific gifts and talents in the Body of Christ! Here are a just few ideas of areas to serve in where we are always needing some extra hands!

 

 

 

Prayer Team

We all need people pulling for us, that's part of being a member of the Body of Christ. Prayer is what gets us through.  We meet at 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings in the Conference Room. There's nobody who can't come before their Creator in prayer. This is a powerful ministry that anybody that can get involved in!

 

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee puts on the "Back to School Party" annually  to help gear up kids for the upcoming school year - getting them ready mentally, physically, socially and provides them with free school supplies! The Scholarship Committee also gives out scholarships to help with college tuition and has essay contests from time to time. This is a great ministry, and a needed one!

 

Special Projects

This ministry's focus is to serve the Lord through community involvement. The Special Projects Ministry organizes opportunities to link up with other service groups and to improve the quality of life for those being served. It is also a way for newcomers in the area to meet the other "movers and shakers" in the community by providing an opportunity to work side by side with other focused high achieving individuals. 

 

Program Ministry

The function of the Program Ministry is to ensure that each person's age and social group needs are met. The Program Ministry keeps track of the calendar of events, and ensures that the program of the church is ministering to each subgroup of the church in a balanced and edifying way. It is also responsible for publicizing the various programs and events of the church so that our people will be able to invite their friends and associates to come and take advantage of the many high quality program items offered to those who link up with The Worship Center.  

 

 

Membership Ministry

This is a real ministry for those who have a "pastor's heart." The Membership Ministry is charged with following up on visitors and newcomers, making certain they feel welcome and accepted. It is also responsible for making sure that no one "slips through the cracks."  

 

 

Growth & Development

If you enjoy providing structure, getting other people organized, chasing down the details, making sure all the bases are covered, you will enjoy being a member of the Developmental Ministry Group. You'll interact with other details minded people who help the visions and dreams of the visionaries and dreamers come to reality!
